Vehicle Accessories

All vehicle accessories such as headlight covers, bonnet guards, vent visors and weather shields must be removed by the customer prior to commencement of work. The customer must remove any personal items from the interior of the vehicle including the boot. Foam on Wheels will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to personal items.

Liability

  • It is the customer's best interest to identify areas of prior damage, safety and sensitive areas such as electrical parts, computer boxes and special engine compartments where water should not be used, before Foam on Wheels starts work. If after work commences damage occurs without knowledge of hidden compartments, Foam on Wheels does not take responsibility for after-effect damage.
  • Foam on Wheels is not liable for any oil, grease, brake dust or pollutants washed off the customer's vehicle that may stain or damage a driveway or lawn. All products used are environmentally friendly.
  • Foam on Wheels has sole discretion in determining the liability of any damage claimed to have occurred during work, such as scratches, scuffs, dents or swirl marks, as these may have been present prior to work commencing when the vehicle was dirty.
  • Foam on Wheels does not take responsibility for problems that existed before work commenced. It is the customer's responsibility to have pre-existing problems fixed before work begins.
  • As part of the detailing process, high-pressure machines, vacuums and shampoo machines are used. Foam on Wheels does not guarantee how long the shine will last, as this depends on where the vehicle is parked and how it is used.
  • For interior detailing, Foam on Wheels does not take responsibility for seats or carpets remaining wet, or condensation in electrical or related areas after completion. If the customer requires high-pressure cleaning of interior components, written permission must be provided and no liability will be taken for resulting issues.
  • Foam on Wheels has the right to hold the vehicle key until the job is completed and full payment has been made. Once payment is received and a tax invoice issued, the key will be returned.

Professional Service Guaranteed

After completion of work, the customer must inspect all work prior to the operator leaving. Any issues must be identified and rectified before the detailer leaves. Issues raised after the detailer has departed will incur additional charges based on travel time and cause of the problem.
